Taste-a-Monials

"Hello.  My name is Muttley.  I am a 7-year-old Sheltie/Shepherd mix, thus my name, Muttley.  My mom bakes all the treats for The Critter Cookie Company.  My job is to taste all her samples...it's a dream job!  Some of my favorites are Chicken, Beef & Cheese, Peanut Mutter (named after me), Bar-B-Q, heck...who am I kidding?  I LOVE THEM ALL!  But I must say, the Beggin' Bacon Balls are my all time favorite!  YUM!  Try some, and let us know which is your favorite and share your story, right here on this Taste-a-Monial page, about how wild you act once you try the scrumptious treats sold at The Critter Cookie Company. Got a story?  Have a picture?  Send it to us and we'll place your taste-a-monial right here.  You could be famous!"

"Hello, everyone!  My name is Holly, and I'm Muttley's new little sister.  Coming to a new home can be a trying experience for a puppy, but you can imagine my surprise and joy when I learned that my new Mommy was the owner of the Critter Cookie Company.  I felt like I won the lotto!  Dad is taking me to puppy training classes where I am learning all kinds of new games like "Sit," "Fetch," and "Chew Dad's Hand Off."  Well, that last game really isn't something they are teaching, I kind of came up with that one on my own.  It doesn't seem like one of Dad's favorite games though, for some reason.  Anyway, I'm doing very well in my training and it is because I use treats my Mommy bakes for the Critter Cookie Company.  I'd do anything for a Chicken Ball or a Steak & 'Tater cookie.  After a long day of training and treats, there's nothing like a good nap.  My photo shows a "before" and "after" look at how I like to kick back and savor the flavors of a yummy treat from the Critter Cookie Company."

"Hi there.  My name is Bridget and I'm a 12-year-old English Cocker Spaniel.  These cookies are scrumpdillyicious!  My favorite is the Peanut Butter/Banana.  These cookies make me lose all my good sense.  Sometimes, in the middle of the night, I get a hankering for one of these treats and wake up my Mummy.  I try to trick her into thinking I have to go potty, but then when we reach the kitchen, I do my 'give me a treat' dance and she gets a little angry with me and won't give me one.  Hey, I'll do anything to get one of these treats.  I know they keep them in the refrigerator because every time the door opens, I get a whiff and then I act all crazy hoping that someone will give me one.  One evening, when my Daddy opened the refrigerator door, I tried to climb into the 'fridge to get my bag of treats.  Sometimes, you just have to take things into your own paws.  Now I spend most of the time laying in front of the 'fridge, dreaming up new ways to trick Mummy and Daddy into giving me more Critter Cookies."--Submitted by Barb & Paul Billow, Cincinnati OH

"My name is Tatum Tucker. I'm a one-year-old Miniature Schnauzer.  The only thing I like better than shopping for Harley Davidson gear and riding my 'Hog' is devouring the yummy treats from the Critter Cookie Company.  I always play a trick on my Mom and Dad by gobbling up my treat as fast as possible, then putting on my 'hungry face,' and pretending that they never gave me a treat to begin with.  It works every time.  They look at me and say, 'Didn't I just give you a treat?'  I simply tilt my head, wag my tail, and eventually--with enough patience--they always offer up another delicious treat.  It's like taking candy from a baby!  Also, I should mention that I have a delicate tummy.  Most treats turn my stomach and cause me to have an accident, if you know what I mean.  However, the treats from the Critter Cookie Company are the very first treats to not bother my tummy, which means no little accidents on the carpet. Mom and Dad seem to REALLY like that."--Submitted by Sidney and Diane Tucker, Cold Spring KY

"I am Sasha.  I'm a seven-year-old Husky. My vet claimed that I'm a bit 'fluffy' and needed to watch my weight, but what does he know?  Therefore, my Mom and Dad bought me some low-fat treats from the Critter Cookie Company.  I never knew something low-fat and good for you could taste so delicious!  Mom has been trying to figure out which flavor I like the best, the Low-Fat Cheese, Low-Fat Beef & Cheese, or the Low-Fat Peanut Mutter.  She lays out all three flavors on the floor to see which I will select first...as if that old trick is going to work.  So what do I do?  I swoop up all three at once and gobble them down.  Mom, if you're reading this...I LOVE THEM ALL!  I also like to bark at the 'fridge to let the family know that I need my Critter Cookies."--Submitted by Rick and Lou Daniel, Milford OH

"My name is Kiya.  I'm a yellow lab.  As you can tell from my photo, I'm just a pup.  Therefore, I need smaller sized treats.  The nice people at the Critter Cookie Company specialize my order and make the treats small just for me!  Besides, you know the old saying, 'Good things come in small packages.'  It's true, I mean, just look at me!"--Submitted by Justin and Alysia, Ludlow KY

"Hi!  My name is Ginger.  I'm an 8-year-old mini pin.  I only weigh 8 pounds but everyone says I have 108 pounds of attitude.  I recently tried treats from the Critter Cookie Company and I am hooked!  I now sit by the refrigerator, where my Dad keeps my special treats, and wait for him to give me another.  I can't get enough!  My Critter Cookie treats come in a very cool bag and every time I hear the bag open, I come running to the sound no matter where I am in the house.  I might be small, but I'm fast!  I still haven't decided on my favorite flavor yet, just give me the entire bag!"--Submitted by Phil Silvers, Winchester IN

"My name is Max.  I'm a 7-year-old Golden Retriever.  I must confess that I am in love with the treats from the Critter Cookie Company.  I can hardly contain myself awaiting the next treat. In fact, I now lay in front of the refrigerator awaiting my treat.  I block the door so no one else can open it.  The way I see it...if I don't eat, no one eats!  The other day my Mom went to the 'fridge for a treat.  I was so excited about getting a Critter Cookie.  Instead, Mom returns from the 'fridge with an American cheese slice...what used to be my favorite treat.  The look of disgust I gave her said it all.  I doubt she'll be making that mistake twice."--Submitted by Zeke and Kathy Horner, Winchester IN

"Hi!  I am a mini pin, and my name is Duke.  I was born May 1, 2003.  For those of you who didn't bother to send a birthday card to me this year, I won't soon forget.  I'm rather studly with long legs and a lean body.  I guess you could say I'm 12 pounds of twisted steel and sex appeal.  I have found that the treats from the Critter Cookie Company are a multi-purpose treat.  Not only do I devour them because they taste so yummy, but I also play with them on the floor because they come in such cool shapes and sizes."--Submitted by Marcia Fair, Winchester IN

"We are the Schnapp Family.  We have all had rough beginnings to life, but after rescuing, we have found a loving home to call our own.  Miracles do happen...believe us!  Skyler, the black and brown Aussie, is only this handsome because of all the Critter Cookies he eats.  Skyler loves them so much, he would inhale an entire bag if allowed.  Sammy, the Flat-Coated Retriever mix, loves the Critter Cookies so much, he tries to get to them as soon as Mom opens the refrigerator door.  He'll do anything (that's legal) to get a Critter Cookie!  Sadie, the 7-year-old Golden Retriever/Chow mix, can't get enough Critter Cookies either.  Sadie has become a bit on the 'fluffy' side, so Mom is getting special low-fat flavors for her now.  They taste just as good!  We all love, love, love our special Critter Cookies--so much so that our Mom has to ration them out to the 'herd' as special treats.  Madison, the adorable cat pictured with Sadie, lusts after the dog cookies and licks up all the crumbs she can find.  Someone needs to let her know that the Critter Cookie Company makes cat treats too!"--Submitted by Karlyn Schnapp, Cincinnati OH

"Hi there!  I'm Bela and it is no secret that I'm a total Mommy's boy.  However, when it comes to Critter Cookies, I'd hop in a car with strangers to get my paws on some.  Fortunately for me, my Auntie Brenda makes these delicious treats--can you believe one person is behind this brilliance?  I sure love her because not only is she good as gold to me, but she keeps me in full supply.  Sometimes I have to remind my Mommy, 'Isn't it time you have lunch with Auntie Brenda (wink-wink-paw-paw)?'  I am so sweet and obedient when it comes to getting Critter Cookies.  I will drop down in a perfect sit and not move every time I hear that bag open.  And it's a funny thing, you can take any other plastic bag in the world and open it, but it won't fool me.  I KNOW the sound of the Critter Cookie bag.  I only have one complaint. Would someone tell my Mommy to STOP eating all the Honey Oat, Peanut Muttter, Peanut Butter Banana, Cinnamon, and Pumpkin ones?  I don't mind sharing my toys and bones...but hey, hands off the Critter Cookies, Mom! Also, don't I look cute in my Halloween costume? Bela Lugosi might have made this costume famous, but I look cuter in it, don't you think?"--Submitted by Sonya Pinner, Cincinnati OH

"Hi.  My name is Walter.   People think I'm a dog, but I'm not.  I'm a Havanese.  And I don't like just anything that my mom brings home from the store.  Actually, I hate everything that my mom brings home from the store.  That's why my mom got me some Chicken Balls from the Critter Cookie Company.  Anyway, I'm glad she finally got something right.  I love to run to the refrigerator now, cause when my mom is there, she's right next to my chicken balls, and sometimes she gives me one.  They are fun to play with, cause they roll around on the floor.  Fun times.  Then, when they're good and rolled, I get to eat them!  Funner times!"--Submitted by Jenny Grove, Muncie IN

"Hello people out in Internet Land. We are the VanVelzel dogs...Hershey and Coale.  We wanted to take a moment to tell you how much we adore our treats from the Critter Cookie Company.  All it takes is the rattling of the Critter Cookie Company's treat bag for a couple rambunctious Labs like us to sit still.  We love the anticipation of that familiar crinkle sound when the treat bag opens.  It means our Critter Cookies will soon be in our bellies...where they belong!  We love our cookies!"--Submitted by Steve & Jamesa VanVelzel, Cincinnati OH

"I am writing to say THANK YOU for my delicious Christmas Dog Cookie Wreath!  Every day I sit in the window guarding the yard from the delivery man, but when this package came - I knew it was for me!  My mom helped me unwrap the box so I could see what I got.  To my delight it was a wreath full of treats!  There are all kinds of treats: Peanut Mutter, Peanut Butter/Banana, Peanut Butter & Carob Chip, Beef, and Honey Oat.  My favorite is all of them!  Mom held the wreath and let me pick one.  I shouldn't admit it, but when she laid it on the box and went to get dad I snuck another.  When she came back in, I was slowly sneaking off toward my bed with it - she caught me but let me have it anyway.  Probably because I'm so cute!  I've been getting many more since I have been doing my commands so well.  Every time I "sit", "down", or "come" mom lets me pick another treat from the wreath.  And these ones don't bother my stomach or skin like many other treats do.  That makes mom and me both happy!  After I choose one, I like to take it to my bed to eat in privacy - I like to RELAX and ENJOY my delicious treats!"--Submitted by Spike Kruck, Ormond Beach FL

" I wanted to say Thank You for my Christmas wreath.  My name is Caesar and I am a 5 year old Saint.  Since I was a pup I have been the 'only child' but recently my mom and dad brought home a new addition (something called a baby) who seems to take up a lot of their time.  Since they were starting to feel guilty for the shaft, they bought me a dog cookie wreath for Christmas.  Now everyday up to Christmas I get a few treats.  I have had the assorted treat bags before and they are just delicious.  I know my mom and dad really care about me to provide me with such 'good for me' treats and they taste so good as well.  I like that there are so many different types of treats and such unique flavors.  My favorite is the Peanut Mutter and Peanut with Carob Chip.

Thank you so much Critter Cookie Company.  I hope that my sad and longing looks will continue to get me more treats!"--Submitted by Caesar Louder, Fort Thomas KY

"Hi! My name is Isabella Lucia...but you can call me Bella! I'm a one year old Shit-tzu Poodle mix. I was introduced to Critter Cookies at the Pet Fair in Northern Kentucky. There wasn't a treat there that I didn't love but my mommy bought me a bag of Hot Diggity Dogs. As mommy would say, O...M...G! They are amazing! Because I'm a little bitty thing, I get a half of one when mommy comes home from work and I'll jump in circles and even tell Mommy "love you" for one of these amazing treats. Each time I get one I wag my tail 100mph in delight hoping that Mommy gets the picture and gives me more. She usually does. They are delicious! " Mmmmm! These banana bread cookies from the Critter Cookie Company are so good, and good for me too!  Hi, my name is Mariah and I live at Forgotten Treasures Equine Rescue.  One of my supporters orders me these delicious cookies from the Critter Cookie Company.  They always arrive fresh and taste great!  I know they are made with love, and that they care for me and my pals here.  I highly recommend you try one of the many varieties of equine treats or even the ones for canines as well.  Kathleen, the founder of Forgotten Treasures Equine Rescue, enjoys feeding me and my pals these treats too, even if she gets a hand full of slobber while feeding us the yummy stuffed apples."--Submitted by Mariah of Forgotten Treasures Equine Rescue, Littlestown PA

"I LOVE my new treats!  Thank you so much (and thank Brenda)!  So far, I love the Pizza best...or was that the 'doghouse' or the Bacon Ball?  Aw heck, I dunno.  They're all so good that I can't remember. "--Submitted by Sophie of Ohio
