Wild Bird and Squirrel Treats

Don't forget to feed the birds and squirrels! We have always fed our wild birds and woodland friends, and sometimes they need a little help...especially during the winter months when nuts and berries are scarce. Here in Ohio, we usually see a vast majority of woodpeckers, cardinals, blue jays, robins, starlings, and various other smaller birds. Since we started putting out our homemade treats, our bird population has doubled! We also usually have anywhere from 3-6 squirrels running in our trees at all times.

Our bird treats are made with human-grade natural ingredients to give your yard critters a healthy and scrumptious treat. Our treats make wonderful gifts while also being nutritious treats.

We bake our treats without any added salt, by-products, or artificial preservatives (some of the wild bird treats contain a small amount of brown sugar, but this is not harmful to your wild birds or other wildlife). We bake the treats right here on-site to ensure freshness and quality. Your treats will be baked fresh, packed in a bird-themed bag, tied with cute paw-print ribbon, and labeled. Your package of wild bird treats will be packaged and shipped next day to ensure your treats arrive "bakery fresh."

Our wild bird cakes are approximately 4x4" and will fit in a suet cage of this size or larger. We also crumble some of the cakes and scatter them on the ground under our bird feeders for our squirrels. Some bird feeders also come with suet cages built into them, and you can break the cakes into smaller pieces to fit into your specific feeders.

So, if you have friends who are avid bird watchers and enjoy bird songs all year long, they will love these special treat gifts and their wildlife will devour the tasty treats.

We recommend that you keep your treats refrigerated for best quality and freshness. Treats will last up to 4 weeks in the refrigerator and up to 6 weeks in the freezer. Just thaw a few cakes at a time, as needed.
