About Us

We are located in Morrow, Ohio, a small suburb of Cincinnati. Our company came about as a result of our spoiled, finicky dog, Muttley, as he would always snub any store-bought treats. Actually, he would take one in his mouth and then state his dissatisfaction by spitting it back out at us and letting out a heavy sigh...he's quite the melodramatic type. To appease Muttley's finicky tongue, I started experimenting with making my own homemade treats and found that he absolutely loved them! Being the animal lovers that my husband and I are, we started sharing these treats with our animal-lover friends. The response we received was that their pets went absolutely wild over our treats, and they wanted more!

Since we live on a very wooded lot, I didn't want to forget about our many yard critters. I began making wild bird cakes and hung a sample out in our suet cage, as well as crumbled a few cakes on the ground. Shortly after returning inside, I looked out the window and witnessed a scene that made me giggle. Twice the number of birds and squirrels that we normally have on any given day were on the ground feasting on the crumbs while several birds were jockeying for position around the suet cage. It didn't take long for the treats to vanish...and for me to realize that the wild-bird cakes were also a hit. Even my husband thought they smelled quite yummy. I have come to expect that if we put the cakes out in the morning, there is never a crumb left by afternoon.

Our treats are made with wholesome natural ingredients, and no ingredients are harmful to your pets. You can even purchase our wheat-free treats if your pets have wheat allergies, or low-fat treats if your pet is a little on the "fluffy" side, or our Bow-Wow Brownies or carob-dipped treats to satisfy your dog's want for chocolate.
